What is the global average penis size?
According to the Veale et al. (2015) systematic review, the largest of its kind, pooling 15,521 clinically measured men, the global average erect penis length is 13.12 cm and the average erect girth is 11.66 cm. Flaccid averages are 9.16 cm for length and 9.31 cm for girth.
How accurate is the country data?
The country figures are compiled from public aggregators (e.g. WorldData.info), not from a single controlled study. The underlying sources mix self-reported surveys with clinically measured studies, sample sizes vary enormously, and publication bias is likely. They are indicative estimates, not peer-reviewed per country, so treat every country comparison as approximate.
How is my percentile calculated?
Your percentile is the cumulative distribution function of a normal distribution with the active baseline's mean and standard deviation, evaluated at your value. It is the share of men below you. The CDF uses the Abramowitz–Stegun error-function approximation (maximum error about 1.5e-7), and displayed values use adaptive precision so the tails never show a literal 0% or 100%.
What do the size tiers (Micro to Elite) mean?
The tiers are six standard-deviation bands around the active baseline average, with their exact population shares: Micro (below −2 SD, 2.28%); Modest (−2 to −1 SD, 13.59%); Average (−1 to +1 SD, 68.27%); Large (+1 to +2 SD, 13.59%); Huge (+2 to +3 SD, 2.14%); Elite / Massive (above +3 SD, 0.13%).
